Μπορείτε δεν έκανε τίποτα για να με θάψουν, αλλά έχετε ξεχάσει ότι ήμουν ένας σπόρος.
Quisieron enterrarnos, pero se les olvido que somos semillas.
Dinos Christianopoulos‘ original poem is a challenge to rise up against oppression. Over the years, his words have transformed into the message we chose for our shirt. The power of his message has been adopted by civil rights movements across the globe – in Mexico it became a rallying cry after the disappearance of 43 Ayotzinapa students; in the US it has been used as a message from the Black Lives Matter movement and the Water Protectors of Standing Rock that the people will not be silenced. It is in this tradition – with respect to previous civil rights movements – that we have chosen to feature this version of the poem on our shirt.
These funds will be used in Texas to pay for all associated costs with the March as well as hopefully help individuals who are interested in attending the marches. Our extraordinary graphic designer, Anne Bortz Designs, has donated the graphic design and all the profits will go to the March! And, we are working with a local, woman owned silk screeen company to keep the money here in Texas! Buy yours here!
